NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Vice Commander Lynn Kohl spoke to defense industry professionals and members of the acquisition community about the commands initiatives to reform forecasting at the 22nd Annual National Defense Industry Association (NDIA) Conference in Tampa, Fl., Oct. 23.The conference brought together leaders of the systems and mission engineering community to share best practices on improving acquisition and performance of defense programs and systems.Kohls presentation centered on recent advances in NAVSUP WSSs forecasting processes, which have increased speed to delivery and reliability of parts through enhanced predictions of customer demand.Our work is an integrated and important part of Navy sustainment, said Kohl.
